Kick the Moon
On a field trip to Gyeongju City in high school, Choi Gi-dong leads his classmates in a legendary rumble against the local school kids. Young-joon, a straight-A student, chickens out and stays behind while everybody else goes out into the bloody battle on the streets. Afterwards, Gi-dong is admired for his courage, while Young-joon gets ostracized for his cowardice. The unforgettable incident changes the courses of their lives. Ten years later, they meet by chance and Young-joon turns out to be a big-time gangster visiting Gyeongju to effect a takeover of the territory, while Gi-dong has become a Phys. Ed. teacher at the local school. Subtle undercurrents of rivalry flow beneath their conversation and become serious when they both fall for Ju-ran, a tough but sweet girl who runs a ramen shop in the area. The love triangle struggles on while the local gangsters plot and slash their way to getting back their territory.
