- I'm an aspiring writer with a review blog that primarily focuses on British music and has developed a vast body of knowledge and works - I know my Brit Pop history well. For a little over a year I built a foundation on British music but sometime in late April/early May of 2009, I discovered K-pop. Over the past few months I've been learning about the Korean music industry - how it works, the frontrunners and the past legends. Although my knowledge of K-pop isn't as vast as Brit Pop and it's a lot harder to research on the actual history of the industry, I can say that I've done my research and I know my stuff. A lot of Filipinos who listen to Korean songs don't know a thing about K-pop but I do at least know how the industry works - I'm not a wannabe, I genuinely want to learn everything I can about the genre. Which is why I blog about K-pop. Comments from the bloggers/people who know K-pop like the back of their hands are the most important things to me right now because I know most of the straight facts, I just need direction and clarification.

Before you start dismissing me for comparing such a new boyband to GODS, at least consider my points, and know that I'm a full-fledged Cassie but I'm also a music writer - I put my biases aside when I write critical pieces.
D-NA are a new boyband under one of the smaller Korean talent companies and the name stands for Dae Guk Nam Ah (something about guys? don't know the direct translation) - pictures were first released earlier this year.
Rant: Kpop's a threat to OPM? Puh-lease.

I only recently found out about this TV spot on one of the leading news programs in the country, but damn - I dunno how to feel.
